Which? announce closure of Web Trader scheme.
We regret to announce that the Which? Web Trader scheme will be closing on January 31 2003. During the three and a half years of the scheme Which? have accepted more than 2,700 online traders from more than 8,000 applications. The scheme has succeeded in its aim of increasing consumer confidence online and has promoted higher standards in e-commerce. However, providing such an effective and well-monitored scheme costs a significant amount each year and as a charity and campaigning organisation Which? feel they cannot maintain the high standard of service with their current resources. They have therefore decided to bring the scheme to a close. At Calder Trade Supplies Ltd our aim is to offer you the customer the best service possible and we will be seeking to gain similar trust marks to ensure that your rights as a consumer are protected at all times.
